1. A timer (watch or clock)
2. A clean, dry container to collect your urine sample.
• Always read the instructions on the leaflet completely before testing.
• The unopened test can be stored at room temperature (up to 30°C/86°F). Do not freeze.
• Do not open foil pouch until sample is collected and ready to be tested.
• Do not use if the foil pouch is torn or not sealed.
• Do not use if the test is past the expiry date.
• Do not drink too much water or other beverages before testing.
1. The best time to collect urine is between 10a.m. and 8p.m. For the best results, try to collect urine at approximately the same time each day.
2. First morning urine is not recommended, but any other time of day is suitable.
3. Refer to WHEN TO START CHART to determine the day to start testing.
1. Collect your urine sample in a clean, dry plastic or glass container.
2. Do not mix urine samples collected at different times.
3. The urine does not require any special pre-treatment.
1. Collect a urine sample in a dry and clean plastic or glass container.
2. Remove the test from the pouch and use it as soon as possible. Avoid touching any part of the test other than the blue handle.
3. Point the test in the direction of the arrows and dip it into the urine sample, making sure the test is not submerged past the MAX line.
4. Hold the test vertically in the sample for at least 10-15 seconds.
5. Remove the test from the sample and lay it flat on a dry, clean, and non-absorbent surface.
6. Read the result between 10 and 20 minutes after sampling.
After you take a test, you should see the control line (C) close to the blue handle. This tells you that the test worked. If your LH (luteinizing hormone) surge has been detected, then you will see another line, the test line (T), that’s equal to the control line in intensity or darker. When you get a positive result, this is a good time to have sex to maximize your chances of getting pregnant.
If you only see a C line or a T line that’s fainter than the C line, then your LH surge has not been detected. When you get a negative result, continue daily testing until you get a positive result.
If you do not see the C line, then the test is invalid. Use another test if the test is invalid.
• Always read the instructions on the leaflet carefully before testing.

• Do not use if the foil pouch is torn or not sealed
• Do not use if the test is past the indicated expiration date.

After you take a test, you should see the control line (C) appear close to the pink handle 5 minutes after sampling (it may even appear sooner). This tells you that the test worked. You should wait the full 5 minutes after testing to confirm a negative result.
• Positive result: Two colored lines appear, one at the test line (T) position and another at the control line (C) position.
• Negative result: Only one colored line appears in the control line (C) position. No colored line in the test line (T) position.
• Invalid result: Absence of a colored line in the control line (C) position is an invalid result. You should repeat with a new test.
Since the LH surge occurs approximately 24-36 hours before you ovulate (when you release an egg from your ovary), an ovulation test identifies your 2 most fertile days. You are at your most fertile on the day the test detects the LH surge and the day after, which makes it the best time to have sex to maximize your chances of getting pregnant.
Accu-Clear® Ovulation Tests are over 99% accurate at detecting the LH surge and the Accu-Clear® Pregnancy Tests are over 99% accurate from the day of your expected period, at detecting pregnancy1.
The Accu-Clear® Pregnancy Test strips can detect pregnancy as early as 6 days before the missed period, which is 5 days before the day you expect your period2.
Just collect a urine sample and using the arrows to guide you, dip the test in the sample for 10-15 seconds. Then lay the test flat and read the results 5-15 minutes after taking the pregnancy test, or 10-20 minutes after an ovulation test.
Accu-Clear®Ovulation and Pregnancy Test Combo comes in packs with 50 ovulation tests and 20 pregnancy tests, offering you great value for easy testing.
Just before an egg is released from your ovary, there is an increase in LH, which can be detected in your urine. Accu-Clear® Ovulation Test works by detecting the surge in LH in your urine. The LH surge occurs approximately 24-36 hours prior to ovulation. You are at your most fertile on the day your LH surge is detected and the day after.
When you are pregnant, your body produces the pregnancy hormone hCG (human Chorionic Gonadotrophin). This hormone appears in your urine shortly after fertilization takes place. The Accu-Clear® Pregnancy Test can detect small amounts of this hormone in your urine.
This depends on when you had your last period and your cycle length. If the length of your cycles each month only differ by a few days, then you can take the average number of days from the past three months. If your cycle is more irregular, then you may want to use your shortest cycle length when reading the chart. Use the ‘WHEN TO START CHART’ above, on the side of the box, or in the leaflet to work out when to start testing. Count from the first day of your period and test on the recommended day.
These pregnancy test strips can be used to detect hCG as early as 5 days before your expected period (6 days before the day of your missed period). Since the amount of hCG increases as pregnancy progresses, if you test before your period is due and get a negative ‘Not Pregnant’ result, you may still be pregnant. See the chart below for results from clinical testing of the Accu-Clear® Pregnancy Test:
Not sure what the day of your expected period is? Take the average of the cycle length of the past 3 months and count the number of days from the first day of your last period.
Yes, this should be interpreted as a positive result. It means hCG has been detected in your urine, but in a low concentration. If there are two lines—no matter how faint the test line is — is a positive result.
Negative results are expected in healthy non-pregnant women. If you do get an unexpected result, you should consult your healthcare provider.
• Fertility drugs containing hCG may give misleading results (these fertility drugs are usually given by injection and testing too soon after administration may give a misleading Pregnant result).
• The test should not be affected by other fertility therapies, pain killers, antibiotics, or hormonal contraceptives (e.g. contraceptive pill).
• If you have recently stopped using hormonal contraception or are using fertility therapies, your periods may be irregular, leading you to test too soon.
• If you have recently been pregnant (for example, delivery, spontaneous abortion or termination), you may get a misleading Pregnant result.
If you see the control line (C), this tells you that the test worked correctly.
For the ovulation test, you will need to wait 10-20 minutes to confirm a negative result. If you get a positive result, this will not change after the test has completed, but to avoid getting any incorrect results, you should discard any results you read after 30 minutes.
For the pregnancy test, you’ll need to wait at least 5 minutes to read the results. You can read the results up to 15 minutes after taking the test but results after 15 minutes should be disregarded. A strong positive result can appear as soon as 10 to 30 seconds, but a weak result can take longer to develop (5 minutes). Make sure you wait 5 minutes to confirm any negative result.
The test should not be affected by alcohol. However, it is not recommended to use the test after drinking lots of any liquid.
